Virginia law says it’s illegal to sell native species of wild animals taken from their habitat for food. Attorneys for an international grocery store in the Northern Virginia area, which serves a growing Asian population, says the store’s animals were farm raised and that the outdated law is depriving Asians from their traditional foods. The case heads to court this week.
